Well I don't know if I ever updated saying that next school year I will attending the professional photography program at Western Academy of Photography in Victoria. I am beyond excited and extremely pumped for it, yet at the same time I am so apprehensive and anxious. Though I am beyond elated that I will be going to WAP I am not so excited on the cost, luckly my family is (for the most part) supportive in what I am doing and are helping to pay my way.
Since going to WAP last week for my admissions interview I have been burring myself in photography related things, looking up photos from the masters, from contemporary artists, reviews on equipment, videos of photo shoots, articles in magazines and online, and so many other things, it really gets me excited.
Along with all this I have been sorting out my old external hard drive that has 3 years worth of pictures on it, I looked back at some of the stuff I took when I started to really get into photography, it was a huge confidence boost and made me realize that I really am going some where. It was a great motivation as well, it makes me see that all the work I do really does go to something.
Another thing I have been thinking about is starting to charge people for my photos and watermarking those I post online. I'm unsure about this, but for those of you who do read this would you pay for my photos?
Um That seems about it so for those of you who did TL;DR the main points of this were:
-Going to Western Academy of Photography for Pro. Photo course.
-New lease on photography, more excited and motivated than ever.
-Should I charge for my work?
